Permanent Makeup (PMU) Before & Aftercare Instructions

To ensure the best results and a smooth healing process, it’s important to follow these guidelines before and after your Permanent Makeup procedure.

Before Your Appointment

Please follow these instructions at least 24–48 hours prior to your appointment:

  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) as they can increase bleeding and sensitivity.

  • Do not tan or have sunburned skin.

  • Avoid facials, chemical peels, or Botox treatments at least 2 weeks before.

  • No waxing, threading, or tinting in the area to be treated 3 days prior.

  • Discontinue use of Retin-A, Retinol, or acids on the area for at least 1 week prior.

Important: If you are prone to cold sores and are getting lip PMU, please take antiviral medication (like Valtrex) 2–3 days before and after the procedure to prevent outbreaks.

Aftercare Instructions

Proper aftercare is critical to achieving the best healed results. Healing takes about 7–14 days, but full results are visible in 4–6 weeks.

Immediately after your procedure:

  • Expect mild redness, swelling, and tenderness.

  • The color will appear darker and bolder for the first few days — this is normal.

For the next 7–10 days:

  • Do not touch, pick, or scratch the treated area. Let any flaking or scabbing come off naturally.

  • Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid excessive sweating, saunas, swimming, or long showers.

  • Gently blot the area with a clean tissue if needed (especially in the first few hours).

  • Use a healing ointment or balm as instructed by your artist — do not over-apply.

  • Avoid makeup or skincare products on the treated area until fully healed.

Long-Term Care Tips

  • Use sunscreen on the area once healed to prevent fading.

  • Avoid exfoliants or acids directly on the tattooed area.

  • A touch-up may be required 4–8 weeks after your first session for optimal results.

Refund Policy Terms and Conditions

1. Satisfaction Guarantee: We strive to ensure your complete satisfaction. If you're not happy with your service within 7 days, we'll fix it at no extra charge. However, refunds are not provided.

2. Deposits: For all major services, a 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment.

3. Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours notice. Failure to do so may result in a charge of 50% of the service fee. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations will require full prepayment for future appointments.

4. Permanent Makeup Services: Prior to your appointment, you will need to fill out our PMU (Permanent Makeup) consent form. This form must be completed and sent back before your appointment to ensure a smooth and efficient process during your visit.
